Hawley Voter Information
Due to the Covid-19 threat, we encourage all registered voters to consider voting by Absentee Ballot. However, polls will be open on June 1 from 11:45 am to 7:00 pm for those who choose to vote in person. Please wear a mask and observe the rules which will be posted that day regarding social distancing.

Here are the steps if you choose to vote by Absentee Ballot:
First you need an Absentee Ballot Application, which can be downloaded HERE or requested by phone (413-339-5518), email or mail. Fill it out, and mail it to the Town Office at 8 Pudding Hollow Road, Hawley, MA 01339 or place it in the Lockbox next to that Office's disabilities entrance.
Second, Town Clerk Pam Shrimpton will retrieve your application(s) and send you as many official Absentee Ballots as requested. (One per voter.)
Third, complete your ballot(s) and mail (or lock-box) them in the envelopes provided, soon enough in advance of the due dates posted below so that they to get there on or before the June 1 date (polls will be open on June 1 from 11:45 am to 7:00 pm).
DEADLINES:
  • Absentee Ballot Applications are due no later than 5:00 PM Friday, May 29.
  • Completed Absentee Ballots are are due on Monday June 1, the election day, by close of the polls at 7:00 pm.
