Local Volunteers Needed
For COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
Medical professionals  and  non-medical support staff are needed for COVID-19 vaccination clinics across Franklin County.
Here are the steps:

Step 1 Registration

  • Register at www.MAResponds.org NOTE: After creating your log-in credentials (user name and password), affiliate with the Franklin MRC in the “Add Organizations Region Map” not the COVID Response Team option.
  • Complete your profile: Identity, Deployment Preferences, Contact, Occupations, Training, Skills and Certifications, and Background Check

Step 2 Background Check

  • A pre-populated version of the CORI form may be created in the Background Check tab. Click Edit Background Check Form (middle left in blue) and complete all fields. Click Open PrePopulated Form to download.
  • Email a digital photograph or scan of your CORI form and a digital photograph or scan of the front and back of your driver’s license or government ID to lsolomon@frcog.org. *Notary NOT needed

Step 3 Training

  • Franklin County MRC volunteers must complete two short online trainings and record them in their MA Responds profile. NOTE: Find trainings HERE.

Step 4 Badge

  • Send a headshot to Lauri Solomon for your MRC Volunteer badge.

You need to know now…..

  1. We are still in the early days of this enormous effort.
  2. There is extensive planning going on in our region.
  3. There will be many, many ways to get the vaccine.
  4. Current vaccination shipments into the county are less than promised and there are limited supplies available. People who meet Phase 2 requirements will need to remain patient and will be notified when it is their turn to be vaccinated.
