QUESTION: What does “FHMS” have to do with Broadband?
ANSWER: Everything.
FHMS stands for the Four Towns — Florida, Hawley, Monroe and Savoy — that have banded together to create a wireless Broadband network to provide reliable, high speed, focused Internet services to their residents.
The FHMS Four Towns Broadband Committee is overseeing the project, which is being constructed by WiValley, who will also maintain the network. OTELCO serves as Internet Service Provider and primary point of contact for Four-Towns customers. MBI is providing the funding.
