FOLLOWING UP ON ITS WORK IN PRIOR YEARS, the Massachusetts Department of Health Office of Preparedness and Emergency Management is again sponsoring a statewide campaign to “. . . encourage Massachusetts residents, families and communities to make plans and prepare for public health and medical emergencies, threats and disasters.
This year’s campaign will include TV spots with themes like:
♦ Build an emergency kit
♦ Create a family communication plan
♦ Plan for your medical needs
♦ Safe and well
♦ Include your pets in planning
As part of the 2016 program, the Office of Preparedness and Emergency Management will be publishing a preparedness checklist and distributing the following materials:
♦ “Know Plan Prepare” brochures (both English and Spanish); and,
♦ “Disaster Preparedness for Seniors” By Seniors.
