Our Annual Town Election will be held on Monday, June 1 at 8 Pudding Hollow Road in Hawley from 11:45 am to 7:00 pm.
We are encouraging voting by absentee ballot. The State has informed us that the COVID-19 pandemic is enough reason for any resident to request an absentee ballot. We do still by law need to hold an election in person, and that will be at the above time and place. We may hold the election outside, and will maintain social distancing, require masks, and have fewer workers than usual.
If we need to hold the election inside due to inclement weather, precautions will be in place, including limiting the number of people in the building at one time and requesting that voters wear masks.
- Robert Root has submitted nomination papers for the Selectboard/Board of Health position, 3-year term. He is the incumbent presently.

I hope you are all staying safe, staying home as much as possible, and wearing masks! We have some very generous Hawley residents who have been busy creating masks. They are available for free outside the door on the left side of Town Hall.
