Special Election Coming Up June 17 . . .

A special election will be held on Monday June 17, 2019 to fill the Selectman’s position left open by the unfortunate death of Sally Rich. Polls will be open at the Town Office from 11:45 am to 7:00 pm.

In addition to the two announced candidates for the opening — Robert MacLean and Courtney Ann Hoyt [Click for Candidate Statements] — an opportunity will be provided to cast write-in votes, both for that role and for Hawlemont School Committee.

The Town of Hawley Election Results are in, with five of seven positions filled by incumbents and the remaining two — Auditor and REP K-12 MTRSD — pending write-in nominee acceptance. Here is the tally, as of Monday evening, May 6:

Town Meeting Coming Up . . .

Note: In conformance with State-mandated posting requirements, a Special Election will be held on Monday, June 17 to fill the Selectman position formerly held by Sally Rich.
